1. Emery Athiri |
This wine (of which 30,000 bottles were produced) is from a single vineyard of 2.8 hectares located near Embonas at an altitude of 750-800 metres with a north west orientation. The vines are 15-18 years old and planted on stony ground with light clay. A classic but gentle method of vinification has been followed resulting in a delicate, fresh wine. There are notes of pear, honey and lime, excellent acidity and a quite distinctive minerality. |
2. Emery Efreni |
Made from two Muscats, Moscato di Trani (75%) and Muscat of Alexandria, grown on a low lying 1.6 hectare vineyard and then sun-dried until the sugar concentration reached 300gr/litre, this wine presents floral notes, including honeysuckle on the nose, suggests tropical fruits such as pineapple on the palate and finishes with a clean and dry hint of lemon. Only 8,000 bottles of this light and fresh wine have been produced. |
3. Emery Rhodos White |
The Athiri grape is indigenous to the Aegean Islands and is the appellation grape of Rhodes. Dry, minerally and aromatic with its bouquet of lemon blossom and citrus peel and full flavours of grapefruit, melon and pineapple, this wine is delicious as an aperitif or with seafoods and white meats. |
