Vinification Harvested from low-cropping vines (4.25 tonnes/hectare) at 24.9 to 25.4 brix, matured for 11 months in French oak barriques (one-third new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Taste Profile A typically graceful Martinborough red, very scented and supple. Charmingly fragrant, it is a forward wine with gentle tannins, sweet fruit and a lot more depth of cherryish, plummy, silky-smooth flavour than its light colour suggests.
