Taste Profile Gibbston Valley Pinot Noir Rich and complex with great depth of intense spicy and succulent flavours underpinned by refined tight-grained French oak, barrel fermentation and subtle malolactic fermentation characters. Nga Waka Pinot Noir A typically graceful Martinborough red, very scented and supple. Charmingly fragrant, it is a forward wine with gentle tannins, sweet fruit and a lot more depth of cherryish, plummy, silky-smooth flavour than its light colour suggests. Gibbston Valley Gold River Pinot Sourced from the cooler Central Otago sub-region of Gibbston and the warmer sub-region of Alexandra. The wine was given just six months ageing in French oak barrels in the winery's underground cave. The subtle tannins from this maturation support the vibrant cherry/plum fruit resulting in an immensely drinkable wine with medium cellaring potential. Gibbston Valley Blanc De Pinot This popular rosé wine has been made using only high quality hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes. The delicate salmon colour is the result of leaving the juice in contact with the grape skins overnight before gentle pressing. Enticing strawberry on the nose with undertones of sherbet and fresh raspberry coulis. The superb balance of sweet red fruit characters and fine acids gives a delightful concentration of flavour with a clean dry finish. Great wine as an aperitif or to accompany an early course at a dinner party. Its very colour is a celebration in itself!
