Vinification A single vineyard Martinborough wine based on 15 year old Mendoza clone vines, the grapes have been hand picked at over 24 brix, whole-bunch pressed, and fermented and lees-aged for 10 months in French oak barriques (half new), with 70% malolactic fermentation.
Taste Profile Light lemon/green, with a fragrant, biscuity bouquet, this is an authoritative, multi-faceted wine, notably weighty and concentrated, with tightly structured grapefruit and toast flavours, a fresh, minerally character and great personality.
