Vinification The vineyard soil consists of gravel on clay. The vines are 14-16 years old. The harvest yield is 6,000 kg/hectare. Picking was on 18 September. The grapes are then dried under shade. Fermentation takes 2 weeks at 15-20 C.
Taste Profile Made from two Muscats, Moscato di Trani (75%) and Muscat of Alexandria, grown on a low lying 1.6 hectare vineyard and then sun-dried until the sugar concentration reached 300gr/litre, this wine presents floral notes, including honeysuckle on the nose, suggests tropical fruits such as pineapple on the palate and finishes with a clean and dry hint of lemon. Only 8,000 bottles of this light and fresh wine have been produced.
